ELK & BISON PRAIRIE Enter the Elk & Bison Prairie and experience the restoration of Kentucky's landscape. The area encloses 700 acres and features three interactive interpretive stops along a 3 1/2-mile paved loop road. Enjoy your self-guided auto tour of the "barrens" restoration landscape where you may see signs of a recent burn, emerging grasses, and spring wildflowers. The Elk & Bison Prairie's open 7 day-a-week from dawn till dusk. Elk & Bison entry tokens can be purchased at the Prairie or at any LBL facility for $5 per vehicle. Buses are 50 cents per person and must be purchased at the Golden Pond Visitor Center.
